Terms of service

These terms describe the agreement between you and Partage when you use the service. We’ve kept them in plain words on purpose.
What Partage is
Partage is a private space for a family to catalogue an estate, share wishes, discuss, and record what they agree. The record it produces reflects your family’s own decisions.
What Partage is not
Partage is not legal advice and its records are not legally binding documents. It does not replace a will, a notary, a solicitor, or any formal process your jurisdiction requires for settling an estate.
Your account and your estate
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you add and for inviting the right people. An invited member sees everything in the estate.
- The executor manages the estate’s membership and settings; heirs’ wishes and words are their own.
- Content your family adds belongs to your family. You grant us only the licence needed to store and display it to the estate’s members.
Payment
Setting up an estate is free. The executor pays once per estate, when inviting the first family member, and that covers everyone in the estate. Heirs are never charged. The payment is refundable in full within 30 days. (The price and full refund terms will be stated here once set.)
Ending things
You can stop using Partage at any time, export your estate, and ask us to delete it. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other people in it.
The fine print to come
Liability, warranties, governing law, and dispute handling will be set out here after legal review. Until then, the service is provided in good faith and “as is.”
